YogwithPurnima ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains, in plain language, what information you share with us, how it reaches us, and how we use it.

1. Who We Are

This website (yogwithpurnima.com) is operated by Purnima Joshi, a Wellness Expert & Yoga Coach based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. For any privacy-related question, contact us at yogwithpurnima@gmail.com or +91 81301 36593.

2. We Do Not Store Your Data on This Website

This is the most important thing to know:

• The contact form on this website does not save anything to a database. When you click "Send on WhatsApp", your message simply opens on WhatsApp pre-filled, and you choose to send it (or not).
• Any details you share with us (name, email, phone, message, health notes) reach us as a WhatsApp message or email, on Purnima's personal devices — not into a customer database on our side.
• We do not run analytics scripts, advertising trackers, or third-party data collection tools on this site.

The only system that handles personally identifiable information programmatically is our payment partner (see Section 4).

3. Information You Share With Us

The information we receive comes through one of these channels, and only if you choose to send it:

• WhatsApp messages — from the contact form on this site, the booking modal, or directly to +91 81301 36593. Typically: name, email, phone, the class you're interested in, and any health notes you choose to share.
• Emails sent to yogwithpurnima@gmail.com.
• In-studio conversations — when you walk in for a class.

4. Online Payments (Coming Soon)

Online payments via Razorpay are launching shortly. When live:

• Razorpay (a PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant gateway) handles the entire payment flow. We never see or store your card number, UPI PIN, or net-banking credentials.
• From a successful payment we receive only: the transaction reference (payment ID, order ID), the amount, and the booking notes you typed in the form. These are kept as our own business records of paid bookings.
• Razorpay's privacy policy is at razorpay.com/privacy.

Until online payments go live, all bookings are confirmed manually via WhatsApp.

5. How We Use What You Share

• To respond to your enquiry and confirm a booking.
• To send you class reminders and schedule updates over WhatsApp / email.
• To adapt your practice safely if you've shared health notes (e.g. injury, pregnancy).
• To process a Razorpay payment, once that channel is live.
• To meet our legal and tax obligations.

We do not send marketing campaigns or newsletters at this time.

6. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We share data only with the following service providers, strictly for the purposes above:

• Razorpay — to process online payments (once live).
• Our website host (GoDaddy) — for hosting and basic security logs.
• WhatsApp / Meta and Google (Gmail) — the messaging and email platforms we use to receive and reply to you. Their respective privacy policies apply to messages in transit.

7. How Long We Keep Your Information

Because the only "store" we have is Purnima's phone and email inbox:

• WhatsApp threads and emails are kept for as long as is reasonably useful for ongoing communication, and may be deleted by us at any time.
• Booking records linked to a Razorpay payment are kept for as long as required under Indian tax law (currently up to 8 years).

8. Your Rights

Under applicable Indian law (including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), you have the right to:

• Ask what information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct it if anything is wrong.
• Ask us to delete your WhatsApp / email correspondence with us, subject to our legal obligation to retain payment records.
• Withdraw consent for further communication at any time — just message us.

9. Cookies

Our website uses only essential cookies needed for the site to work (e.g. for the WordPress backend). We do not run third-party tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. If we ever add analytics in future, we will update this policy and request consent where required.

10. Security

The website runs over HTTPS end-to-end. WhatsApp messages are encrypted in transit by WhatsApp. Online payments are handled by Razorpay (PCI-DSS Level 1). No online transmission is 100% secure — please use a strong, unique password if you ever sign up for an account-protected area.

11. Children

Online services on this website are not directed to children under 13. Children's yoga classes are arranged through a parent or guardian, who is responsible for any data shared on the child's behalf.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
